I still speak with my exes from time to time. Here is what I learned you can be friends. Exes are friends that you share a lot of time with for a concentrated period of time. Sometime they know more about you than your family. When you break up try not to lose that bond. A couple of ways do this is to add them to your email distribution list or send them a joke from time to time. When you need them for something they will be there! If you severe all ties than you lose a relationship that you spent months or sometimes years cultivating. Next time you break up remember…Be Kind; Rewind.

I just realized how AWESOME it is to set what ever cardio-machine you are exercising on whether it be the treadmill, an elliptical, or even the cycle to set the Time Mode on SEGMENT!
Let me explain my *jaw dropping* discovery… ;-)
I normally set the time mode on Normal which starts the time from 0:00 - 30:00. Well, I don’t know about you, but I always catch myself staring down at that damn countdown where it seems to move slower and slower to my end time.
So the other day, I randomly messed with the settings on the elliptical and instead of leaving the time settings on Normal where it counts UP, or Time Remaining where it counts DOWN, I set it at Segments and long behold anytime I saw myself glancing back at the time it would stare right back at me with a friendly and reasonable 7:00-8:00min. left - counting downward ;-) Now that’s more like it.
The next thing I knew I was on the machine for practically an hour!
So long story short, if you don’t already set the time mode when you get on one of those machines, I strongly suggest you place it on Segments especially if you are a time peaker like me.
It’s well worth it and made my week ;-)

So… I’ve recently reduced my coffee intake (tall vanilla lattes) from a couple times a week to once a week if that. I’ve now replaced the coffee with a daily dose of some Hot Green Tea every morning, which I’ve grown to enjoy quite a bit.
The best part about drinking Green Tea as many may or may not know is it works wonders for your overall health specifically the heart, arteries, skin, it can give you the energy boost your body desires and much more.
Perhaps after a long week you could change it up and whip up this recipe to create yourself a Green Tea Shot ;-) Here’s a pic of the yummy shot.
